GUIDELINES TO USE FINCH FOX FURNITURE
Some things are to be kept in mind after you buy furniture from Finch Fox to make it even more durable, be it wooden furniture, office furniture or sofa items
Office furniture
Office chairs generate a lot of accidents and injuries, believe it or not. In New Jersey, some of the most common workers’ compensation claims relate to people falling off chairs after they’ve tried to stand on top of one to access a hard-to-reach item. However, sometimes people get seriously hurt just from sitting on a chair the wrong way.
Let’s take a look at a few do’s:
- When it comes to assembling your office chair, put it together the right way, and according to the directions. Secure all the pieces tightly and put them together in the right order.
- Look at the wheels closely to ensure that they’re fully inserted into the chair and securely attached
- Never buy a four-legged office chair. Five-legged is best because it offers the best foundation.
- Check your chairs for damage every six months. Also, check to see if any parts need tightening or replacing.
- Keep all wheels on the floor at all times.
- If your chair has a tilting function, make sure it is tight enough for a controlled motion.
Here are a few don’ts:
- Don’t lean back in your chair. This could result in the chair slipping and sliding out from under you.
- Don’t lean too far forward in your chair. This could result in a tip-over accident as well.
- Never stand on a chair or use it in place of a step ladder.
Wooden furniture
Furniture which is used daily like dining table or any other table should be covered with the table cloth or some thick cloth to avoid direct contact. Do not keep extreme hot or cold items like hot pan or baking dish directly on any wooden furniture this can spoil its polish, instead use any hot pad. If you keep your furniture near window, then the furniture will fade, so avoid keeping it at the places where there is direct sunlight. To avoid minor scratches which can spoil the finishing of your furniture item, do not slide or pass items. Avoid burning candles on the furniture it can reduce the durability. Make sure you clean your furniture regularly that will help you to maintain it for a long time; you may clean it with a soft wet cloth. We recommend you to get all the furniture wax polished after every half year.
Sofa items
Sofas which are for indoor use should not be kept in a place where there is direct sunlight. Do not keep newspaper or any printed thing on the surface. They should be vacuumed on a regular basis. In case of any spill, try to clean it with the hot wet cloth but always test it on a small area first if this does not work use mild soap then bolt it to remove stains, make sure you don’t rub it. Rotate cushions and pillows weekly and professional cleaning is advised annually. Avoid using fabrics Fresheners and protectors. In case of leather do not use harsh cleaners they can finish its topcoat.
